Oral Arguments before the US Court of Appeals between Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO) victims as plaintiffs and 37 US chemical companies of the United States as defendants, which were scheduled for late May, will be delayed, said Professor Tran Xuan Thu, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Vietnam Association for Victims for Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) on May 10.

The Second Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States said that the Oral Arguments could possibly be heard between August 5 and December 5. However, the date has not yet been fixed.

The same day, Professor Tran Xuan Thu received 1,400 Euros from Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland Tran Ngoc An, on behalf of the overseas Vietnamese community in the Scandinavian country, for support of Agent Orange victims.

An overseas Vietnamese in France, composer Nguyen Thien Dao, also donated VND5 million for AO victims.
