Police in Ho Chi Minh City have rescued three children, who were victims of child trafficking, announced the Ministry of Public Security's Department for Social Crimes on May 24.

The Chinese children, aged between 13 and 14, were kidnapped from China and brought to Vietnam before being transported to Cambodia.

Police arrested three kidnappers who are suspected of involving in a previous child trafficking case on May 9, in which Vietnamese police rescued four Chinese children.

The children have been sent to the HCM City-based General Department of Police for identification before they are handed over to Chinese authorities.
