Because the U-19 team secured a place in the final round of the AFC Cup last year in China, they were advanced to the second qualifying round of the upcoming event alongside Thailand and Chinese Taipei.

The first qualifying round will take place on September 20-29 and the second on October 21-30 in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, the U-16 team will be in group A with Guam, Singapore and the Philippines to battle with group B (India, Uzbekistan, Iran and Jordan) in the first qualifying round of the AFC Cup 2011.

The winner of each group will meet Thailand, Myanmar and Chinese Taipei in the second round.
