The central Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee and the organizers of the first beauty pageant for Vietnamese worldwide met on August 16 to discuss preparations for the final round of the event.
Participants emphasized measures to maintain public order, traffic safety, and food safety, and to provide good health care services.
The final round of Miss Vietnam World 2007 will take place at Vinpearl Resort in the southcentral coastal city of Nha Trang from August 22 to September 2 with sub-contests like Miss Photo, Miss Tourism, and Miss Beach.
After qualifying rounds worldwide, the final will be held on the evening of September 2 with tickets ranging from VND300,000 to VND1 million, which also cover travelling costs.
The event is co-organized by Tien Phong (Vanguard) Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper, and Vinpearl Company to honour the personality, intellectual and physical beauty of Vietnamese women, including those living overseas.
