Despite the absence of their experienced player Le Tuan Tu, the Vietnamese team performed quite well in the first half, keeping the score at 0-0.

In the second half, Australian footballers rushed forward and opened the scoring in the 25^th minute. Vietnamese players still stick to their tactics without wavering and quickly evened the score in the 30^th minute.

However, Australia took the score to 2-1 barely two minutes later. Due to the impatience of inexperienced Vietnamese players, Australian rivals successfully scored another two goals in the 36^th and 39^th minutes.

Vietnam will play against Myanmar on March 31 for third place in the tournament.
