A delegation of 23 Egyptian reporters and researchers will visit Vietnam from September 24 to October 1.

This was announced at a meeting between the Egyptian Minister of Planning and Investment Mohieldin and the Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt, Pham Sy Tam, on September 20.

At the meeting, Minister Mohienldin said that during his visit to Vietnam earlier this year, he witnessed Vietnam’s rapid developments after 20 years of the renewal process. He said that Egypt could learn from Vietnam’s development experiences as the country has attracted many foreign investors. The reporters will have the chance to witness a lot of changes in Vietnam’s economic development, he added.

This is the first time representatives from major newspapers like Al Ahram, Gazette and the Economist have joined a fact-finding tour to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation with Vietnam.
