Female racer bags silver at Asian Champs
(VOV) - Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuc won a silver medal at the 20km Asian Race Walking Championships which closed in Nomi City, Japan, on March 10.
She finished her walking in one hour 35 minutes and 26 seconds.
The gold medal went to Otoshi Kumi from Japan.
Other participants were from China, India, Malaysia, and the Republic of Korea.
Phuc’s younger brother Nguyen Thanh Ngung was placed 5th in the men’s 20km walking event when finishing in one hour 27 minutes 30 seconds.
