New general hospital opens in Dong Nai
A general hospital officially opened to patients in the southern province of Dong Nai’s Long Khánh town on May 16 after receiving investment of VND750 billion (US$33.6 million).
Hospital Director Su Son said the old hospital in Long Khanh was built in 1958-60 and although it had deteriorated it still received an average of 1,200-1,600 people each day. The number of patients needing inpatient care was between 450 and 500.
The new hospital will create better conditions for health checkups and treatment, he said.
