A large number of French and Vietnamese medical experts and doctors gathered at a seminar in Paris on October 13.

Participants discussed healthcare development in Vietnam and measures to promote medical training co-operation between the two countries, especially among localities. Vietnamese medical experts emphasized the importance of medical development in Vietnam and proposed measures to strengthen co-operation in the future. French experts committed to further provide training courses for Vietnamese doctors and nurses, particularly at local hospitals and equipment for provincial hospitals.

The seminar also reviewed the results of bilateral co-operation over the past years and came up with new ideas about future projects.
