Vietnamese chess masters won three golds and one silver at the 2010 Asian Chess Championships, which concluded in Beijing on July 14.

The gold medalists were Nguyen Anh Khoi in the boy’s U8 event, Vu Thi Dieu Ai in the girl’s U12 event and Nguyen Thi Mai Huong in the girl’s U16 event. The bronze medal went to Hoang Thi Nhu Y in the girl’s U18 event.

This year’s competition attracted 428 chess masters from 20 countries and territories around the world.
