The nation’s 6v6 Football Tournament 2010 will be held from March 7-April 7 to choose a representative to compete in the world championships in South Africa.

This year’s tournament has drawn the participation of 128 teams across the country. They will be divided into 4 regional groups: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and two central provinces, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa.

Each region will have 32 teams, divided in 8 groups. The teams in one group will play in a round-robin format to choose the two best teams to play in the 1/8 round.

The 8 winners of the 1/8 round will then play for the 2 best teams to represent the region and compete with 6 other teams to select the final winners.

The champions will represent Vietnam at the International 6v6 Championships 2010 at Johannesburg Stadium in South Africa, where the opening and final matches of the World Cup will also be held.
