Private carrier Indochina Airlines has come to an agreement with Vietnam Airlines to offer a better service to customers for their mutual benefit.

Vietnam Airlines will help Indochina Airlines to train staff and provide them with pilots and leased aircraft.

The agreement will also cover transports of passengers in case of delays or cancelled flights by either airline.

The private carrier plans to launch new routes between HCM City and Hue , and Hanoi and Nha Trang, before the end of this year. Its current flights serve the Hanoi-HCM City and HCM City-Danang routes.

It has several promotional programmes on offer for individual and corporate customers including discounts and a lucky draw with a Toyota car as the prize.

With is maiden flight on November 25 last year, Indochina Airlines has so far safely flown 1,570 flights carrying over 173,000 passengers and 4,000 tonnes of cargo with an average cabin occupancy of 80 percent.
