Southwestern Tay Ninh province police on June 9 handed three kidnapped Chinese girls over to the Ho Chi Minh City-based Chinese Consulate.
The three girls, aged between 9 and 14, later boarded a plane to fly to Guangzhou to reunite with their families in China's Zhejiang province.

Vietnamese police on May 23 rescued the children, who were about to be smuggled to a third country. Tay Ninh police arrested three people who were involved in the trans-national human trafficking ring.

Earlier in May, Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security handed over four other kidnapped Chinese children, who were also from Zhejiang province, to Chinese authorities. The Ministry is collaborating with police forces in Tay Ninh and other localities to crack down on human trafficking ring networks.
