Budget carrier, Jetstar Pacific, plans to open three new international air routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap (Cambodia), Singapore, and Bangkok (Thailand).

Flights on the new routes are expected to operate once a day with Boeing B737-400s which can carry 168 passengers. Tickets are available at the end of August and early September.

Under a new business plan unveiled on August 15, the airlines will give priority to developing more efficient routes and expanding its international ones to incur losses as a result of the recent high petrol prices.

The airlines also announced that it will temporarily stop one domestic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang as from September 5.
