Vietnamese, Chinese localities boost cooperation
(VOV) - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ho Xuan Son has paid a working visit to China’s Guangdong province from December 18–21, attending a conference on bilateral cooperation.
The conference, chaired by Guangdong Deputy Governor Zhao Yufang, reviewed the ongoing cooperation between Guangdong province and Vietnamese ministries, agencies, and localities.
Both sides were pleased with the advances made in Vietnam-China cooperation and Guangdong province’s multifaceted relationship with Vietnamese ministries, agencies, and localities. Collaborations in the fields of economics, culture, education, tourism, and transportation were singled out for special acknowledgement.
The conference reached consensus on a cooperation plan for the 2012–2013 period encompassing more specific measures to nurture the mutually beneficial bilateral ties.
