Chairman of Japan’s renowned material construction corporation, Inax, has said that the group would invest 5.3 billion JPY (close to US$43 million) in two factories in Vietnam and another in neighbouring China.

Chairman Ryuichi Kawamoto told a press conference on July 12 that a factory with a capacity of 500 tonnes of washbowls and other products per month would be located in Hanoi's suburbs while the other factory would be built in Ho Chi Minh City to make wall-tiles.

Inax has already built three factories in Hanoi as part of the group’s plan to expand its manufacturing presence in Southeast Asia.
