The Vietnam-China Caravan Roadshow 2007 officially got underway in Ba Dinh square, Hanoi on October 27 with the participation of many enterprises to promote the country’s image and products in the Chinese market.

About 48-50 vehicles, carrying more than 200 people, are travelling from Hanoi to a number of Vietnamese destinations and then onto China’s Nanning City, where the fourth China-ASEAN Expo will be held.

During their time in Nanning, the delegation will participate in many events such as the Vietnam-China economic cooperation forum and an exchange meeting between Vietnamese enterprises and students and their Chinese counterparts.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and M&C company, is expected to accelerate socio-economic development along the Vietnamese-Chinese border as well as bilateral cooperation under the “two corridors, one economic belt” programme.
