The conference was jointly held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnamese embassy in Mexico, the Trade Office, and the Mexican Business Council of Foreign Trade (COMCE).
The COMCE chairman in charge of business affairs in the Asia-Pacific, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Pham Van Que, and representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and from the Mexican Government and businesses presented information about the economic development and international integration of each country.
Vietnamese businesses working in rubber production, food processing and the packaging industry also answered questions related to cooperation, investment and business opportunities in Vietnam.
The event drew special attention from Mexican businesses and contributed to strengthening economic and commercial ties between the two countries.
Later, COMCE leaders agreed to send a Mexican business delegation to survey the Vietnamese market in 2011.
