The signing of the MoU is aimed at setting up the framework for a programme between Vietnam and the RoK to enhance transparency and put forward regulations for both parties when Vietnamese guest workers go to the RoK under the RoK’s Employment Permit System.

The MoU includes regulations on the costs of sending guest workers, the holding of exams on language abilities, selection of proper candidates, labour contracts, and the issuing of visas. The MoU came into effect on the signing day and will be carried out within two years.
