The Vietnam-Ukraine friendship association held its third national congress in Hanoi on July 7 to discuss measures to boost youth exchange programmes between the countries in the 2007-2012 term.

The association has worked hard to promote cooperation between the two countries with Ukrainian children affected by the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear being billeted to the Southeast Asian country. It has also served as a link between Vietnamese and Ukraine businesses.
