On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, State President Truong Tan Sang has conveyed best wishes to children both at home and abroad.

In a letter dated September 8, he praised them for studying well, particularly the poor children living in remote, border and islands areas, and those winning high prizes at international contests.

He expressed hope that children will follow Uncle Ho’s five teachings to deserve as the trust of the Party, the State and teachers.

The same day, State President Truong Tan Sang gave a reception for children of people, soldiers, and border police from the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago.

He highlighted their academic results and wished that they would become good citizens in the future, contribute to building and defending the country.

President Sang said they should be proud of places where they live as an integrated part of the beloved homeland for many generations.
