Russian forum honours Vietnamese teacher
(VOV) - The International Alliance for Women organization in Moscow, Russia last week paid tribute to Ms Pham Thanh Xuan as a shining example of what can be accomplished through hard work and perseverance.
At a reception in her honour, speakers said Ms Xuan has excelled as a teacher and overcome challenges to become a beacon of hope and inspiration for all generations.
She has continued the long tradition of outstanding and unswerving commitment of so many members of the women’s organization who settled in Russia and her efforts have contributed significantly to Russia’s overall development.

They said it is our pleasure to be able to host this special reception to honour Ms Xuan. We thought that it would be only fitting to commemorate the forum by recognising someone among us who has and continues to blaze a trail for so many others – both men and women – to follow.
Speaking at the event, Ms Xuan said “I am very excited. This is not a prestigious award for me but for the Vietnamese people in general and Vietnamese community in Russia in particular who have made great contribution to social and community activities”.
The event was attended by delegations from 30 nations around the globe.
