US filmmaker Chris Mcintyre joined the Vietnam Feature Film Studio to shoot some scenes of a movie entitled “21 and a Wake-up” at the Rex Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on April 25.

The movie tells a story about an American nurse and 12 other doctors, officers and journalists who served in the US troops during the war in southern Vietnam in four days at the end of May 1971.

The scriptwriter and director of the film, Chris Mcintyre, took part in the war in Vietnam from 1967 until November 1971.

The US$3-million film is expected to be completed in July and shown in the US in December this year.
