Vietnam and China have planned to open nine new inland routes to transport people and goods between the two countries.


The new routes are expected to reduce transport costs and help to promote economic exchange between the two countries.


It was announced at a recent conference on transportation in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China, that the routes include Nanning-Hanoi, Guilin-Hanoi, Guangdong - Hanoi, Nanning-Hai Phong, Kunming-Hai Phong, Chongzuo-Ha Long, Kunming-Lai Chau, Kunming-Tuyen Quang and Wenshan-Tuyen Quang.
