Vietnam has set a target for the national team to secure its 15th position at the 15th Asian Games (ASIAD) slated for December in Qatar.
The country will send some 300 athletes to compete in 23 out of 40 events of the Games, with the aim of wining 4-6 gold medals, 10-12 silver medals and 15-20 bronze medals.
Vietnam won four gold medals and finished 15th at the previous ASIAD in the Republic of Korea in 2002.
