The country’s total exports of agro-forestry and seafood products hit around US$15 billion, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The results surpassed the target of US$14 billion set early this year despite a number of difficulties.
The Ministry said that the exports of several products hit record levels. For example, rice exports in the past 11 months were higher than in the same period last year. However, key agricultural products fell in value despite a sharp rise in volume.
