As many as 252 pressmen have registered to cover the Vietnamese sport delegation’s activities at the 24th SEA Games scheduled in Thailand early next month.
This year’s event, which includes 45 sports, will open on December 6 and run through December 15, according to Tran Van Manh, chief of the secretariat of the Vietnam Olympic Committee.
The Vietnamese athletes will compete in 31 sports and games with the ambition of reaping 60-65 gold medals and finishing in the medal tally’s top three.
