Religious representatives and ethnic minority people in the southern province of Binh Duong attende an annual get-together on January 21.
The religious representatives highly appreciated the province’s socio-economic development, which they said have helped improve the living conditions of residents, including religious practitioners and ethnic minority people.

Venerable Thich Minh Thien, Head of the provincial Buddhist Sangha, hailed the meeting as an opportunity to boost solidarity among people and share business experiences in local and national development.

Nguyen Van Hiep, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, stated that the province has tried to create favourable conditions for religious followers to freely practise their religions and beliefs in accordance with the law.

He praised important contributions by religious organizations to ensuring social order and security, strengthening national solidarity and promoting local socio-economic development.
