The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has announced the results of its recent survey among the world’s leading economic groups.

The UNCTAD’s World Investment Report was based opinions from many of the world’s leading economic groups to conclude that Vietnam is among the top ten attractive economics in terms of investment in the 2007-2009 period.

Vietnam is more attractive for investors in production but not for those in the banking and finance sectors. Overall, the country ranks sixth in FDI attraction as 85 percent of questioned economic groups consider China, India and Vietnam as their top investment destinations.
