The Vietnamese Association chapter in Rhone, France recently organised a parade to introduce Vietnamese culture with the participation of Vietnamese students in France.

A representative of the Vietnamese Association chapter in France Tran Cong Khanh said the parade aims to introduce Vietnamese culture to French and other people in the world.

A parade was led by two gold-starred red flags carriers and followed by traditional lion dances, and Vietnamese students in traditional ao dai dresses.

Mr Khanh said local residents preferred seeing Vietnamese traditional dresses and palm-leaf conical hat and took many photos of the parade.

On the occasion, a showroom was set up to introduce Vietnam’s traditional cultural products including photos, handicrafts, and musical instruments along with a special demonstration of traditional art performances.
