The Ministry of Culture and Information has provided guidance and funding for nine provinces to prepare nine traditional festivals of ethnic minority groups during the Spring of 2007, the Year of the Pig.
They include the harvest celebrations of the Chu Ru ethnic minority group in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong and the Co Tu ethnic minority group in the central province of Quang Nam, the seedtime of the Cao Lan ethnic minority group in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, and the water habour worship of the E-de ethnic minority group in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak.
