Indonesian gets life imprisonment for drug trafficking
(VOV) - The Hanoi City People’s Court on May 7 sentenced Indonesian citizen, Triwenning Puji Astuti to life imprisonment for trafficking drugs.
On September 12, 2014, local police caught 27-year-old Astuti red-handed in Hanoi, while attempting to conceal nearly 5kg of heroin in six comic books.
Astuti admitted to previously having been employed by an unidentified man to transport drugs into Malaysia and Hong Kong (China) three times.
Police are making further inquiry regarding identified man who employed Astuti for drug trafficking.
