At the third Vietnam-India Security Dialogue, Indian Deputy Defence Minister Vijay Singh and Mr Hieu discussed measures to boost bilateral cooperation in national defence in the coming years in line with high-level commitments to strategic partnership.

The Vietnamese delegation shared experiences in terror combat, maritime security, border management and in improving the roles of the State and socio-political organizations.
