The National Sport Dance Championships 2007 will be co-organized at the Quan Ngua Sport Palace in Hanoi on October 13 by the Hanoi Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Gymnastics section of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The contest, to be attended by 150 dancers, aims to develop sport dance in Vietnam and select new members for the national sport dance team.
Seventy-five couples representing five provinces and cities and 20 clubs will compete in Latin and classic events. The champions will be conferred with the Master title, while the second and the third-place couples will be granted first level athlete titles.
Members of the national sport dance team are not allowed to take part in the Cup for Clubs event, and each member can participate in two of the four events in the contest.
