Vietnam is ready to work with Kuwait to promote cooperation and investment in the development of infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, seafood processing and road projects.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung was speaking while receiving new Kuwaiti Ambassador Hamad Saleh Al-Juteili in Hanoi on July 12.
He exposed his wish that the ambassador would spare no effort to boost bilateral cooperation and increase investment funds in Vietnam, helping the country improve living conditions for farmers in rural and remote areas.
Ambassador Hamad Saleh Al-Juteili affirmed his country’s policy to promote and expand cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in investment.
Kuwait will send a delegation to seek opportunities for investment in Vietnam soon, in a contribution to fostering friendship between the two governments and peoples.
