Hanoi, Japan co-ordinate to complete infrastructure projects

(VOV) - Leaders of Hanoi’s People’s Committee held a reception on April 28 for Japanese Senior Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Kotaro Nogami, to facilitate the acceleration of Japan-funded projects in Hanoi. 

At the meeting, the Senior Vice Minister briefed participants on the progress of the city’s infrastructure projects in the north-south planning area between International Noi Bai Airport and Nhat Tan Bridge, Hanoi’s waste water system, a multi-storey car park, real estate exhibitions and fair of Asian nations in Japan.

The Vice Minister asked the city’s leader to create favourable conditions for Japanese partners to implement the projects as scheduled.

Hanoi municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Suu, thanked Japan for assisting the city in providing ODA in various fields such as infrastructure development, transport and culture.

He also agreed to co-ordinate with Japanese partners to complete Japan-funded projects aiming to improve people’s living conditions by solving urgent environmental issues such as transport and sanitation.
