Mascot International, Denmark's largest high-quality workwear manufacturer has selected Vietnam as an important location for its global production activities.

The corporation will sign a memorandum of understanding with leaders from the northern province of Bac Giang next week to build a factory and a bonded warehouse to distribute garment materials globally. The signing ceremony will be attended by the visiting Denmark’s Deputy Prime Minister Bendt Bendtsen.

Managing Director of the corporation Michael Grosbol said “Vietnam has great potential for Danish enterprises to develop their business activities. Therefore, we have decided to select Vietnam to build an international distribution centre for high-quality workwear products”. Mr Grosbol expressed his hope that the corporation will expand cooperative relations with providers in Vietnam.

To meet the requirements of quality, the corporation will supply all materials for garment factories. The bonded warehouse in Bac Giang will become a distribution centre for Mascot’s providers in Asia and Eastern Europe.
