Police parade through streets of HCM City
(VOV) - Thousands will line the city streets on November 14 as 200 members of military bands from four nations march through Ho Chi Minh City as part of the 20th World Police Music Festival.
The Ministry of Public Security made the announcement on November 12, saying military bands from Vietnam, Osaka and Tokyo (Japan), New York and Singapore will participate in the extravaganza.
The opening ceremony starts off on November 14 in front of the Municipal Theatre and will then wind its way through the city boulevards passing through Dong Khoi, Ton Duc Thang, and Nguyen Hue.
A concert is set to get underway later in the afternoon at the Hoa Binh Theatre in district 10 at 2:30 in this second edition of the festival.
