Speaking at the event, the Party chief affirmed that national unity is a valuable tradition of the Vietnamese nation. Upholding the tradition, the Vietnamese people have achieved many great and significant achievements in the cause of national liberation and reunification in the past as well as in the current renewal process.

Vietnam has made positive progress in curbing inflation, stabilising the macroeconomy and ensuring social welfare and sustainable growth, as well as fulfilling political and socio-economic targets and raising Vietnam’s position in the international arena, he said.

The Party leader spoke highly of Song Cong town’s efforts to build a new lifestyle and happy families in residential quarters and to strengthen unity among people.
