On May 28, the delegation was received by Liu Yunshan, Director of the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, who stressed that the exchanges and cooperative efforts made by localities of the two countries have actively contributed to strengthening the China-Vietnam relationship.

During the visit, the delegation learnt about China’s Party building, socio-economic management and development and infrastructure construction and looked for cooperative opportunities between Vietnamese and Chinese localities.

The Vietnamese delegation included Party Committee Secretaries from Yen Bai, Lai Chau and Thai Binh in the north, Tay Ninh and Kien Giang in the south and Quang Tri and Binh Dinh in the centre.
