Foreign-invested businesses gained US$20.4 billion in total revenue in the first six months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 42.4 percent.

Accordingly, FDI businesses earned US$11.32 billion from exports and US$13.9 billion from imported goods and materials,  year-on-year increases of 28 and 42.7 percent, respectively.

As a result, their contributions to the State budget increased by 35.9 percent to US$951 million, according to the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
