The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, has announced that it will increase the number of flights to Melbourne and Sydney, Australia to 14 per week as of June 13.

Accordingly, the airline will increase the number of flights from five to seven per week on the Hanoi-HCM City-Melbourne air route and from six to seven on the Hanoi-HCM City-Sydney route.

In addition, Vietnam Airlines will carry out a promotion programme for passengers who departure from Hanoi or HCM City to Melbourne and Sydney at the price of US$555 for economy class and US$1,555 for business class.

The discount programme will be applied to flights departing from June 1 to September 30.
