The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) plans to move a missile to its launch pad this weekend to enable it to send a satellite into orbit in early April, according to the RoK’s News Agency Yonhap.

After positioning the missile on its launch pad, it could take up to three more days for the DPRK to transfer fuel into the missile before launching it, experts were quoted as saying.

The DPRK has insisted that it only wants to conduct a test-launch of a telecommunications satellite into orbit, while a number of countries accused the DPRK of test firing a long-range ballistic missile.

Japan says that it will shoot down the missile if it is fired towards Japanese territory. In contrast, the DPRK says that such move means a declaration of war.
