Vietnamese symphony orchestra performs in Cambodia

Cambodian people enjoyed the opportunity to listen to classical symphonies played by Vietnamese artists on July 28.

Under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, Vietnamese artists presented works by Austrian composer Johann Strauss II, American composer Leroy Anderson and Vietnamese musicians Trong Bang and Hoang Viet as well as the former Cambodian king N.Shihanouk.

Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, Minh Kosny said she thoroughly enjoyed the concert and spoke highly of Vietnamese artists’ performances.

The concert is part of the Toyota Concert Vietnam-Laos–Cambodia tour and marks the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.
