Finland is considering employing Vietnamese workers, said Arto Satonen, head of the Finland Parliament’s Employment and Equality Committee.

Mr Satonen made the statement at a meeting in Hanoi on March 4 between National Assembly’s Social Affairs Committee and Finland Parliament’s Employment and Equality.

Mr Satonen said his country could employ Vietnamese labourers to work in Finland, adding Finland is considering Vietnam among other possible countries to sign agreements on labour cooperation.

Chairwoman of the Social Affairs Committee Truong Thi Mai said labour export is one of Vietnam’s main targets to create jobs for labourers.
