New section of Hanoi-Haiphong expressway opens
(VOV) -A 22.7 km section of the Hanoi-Haiphong expressway stretching from the centre of Haiphong city to provincial highway 353 has been opened to motorists.
Highway officials said the new section of road was opened on May 27 and would improve travel times and safety.
The highway is 35 metres in width with six lanes designed to withstand vehicle speeds of120 kilometres per hour, with two lanes for emergency stops.
