The Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to Vietnam, Ma Chol-su, on September 7 gave a reception to mark his country's 58th Foundation Day (September 9, 1948).

Attending the reception were Deputy Foreign Minister Le Cong Phung and representatives from various Vietnamese agencies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Ma Chol-su expressed his delight at the good traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries over the past time, affirming that the DPRK will continue developing the relationship in all fields so as to meet the aspirations and benefits of the two countries' people.
