The central Lao province of Savanakhet plans to build a memorial area dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh, according to the province’s Deputy Governor Souphanh Keomysay.
The project aims to remind local residents of President Ho’s contributions to the Lao Revolution as well as his time spent in central Laos in June 1929.
The project, covering 784m2 in Sayaphoum village, Kaysone Phomvihane district, will be built and completed in 2011.
