Shoe and leather int’l expos kick off in HCMC
(VOV) - Three international shoe and leather expos got underway at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on July 16, drawing the participation of 150 businesses from 18 countries around the globe.
The three expos are considered premiere events of Vietnam’s footwear and leather industry gathering all of the leading domestic and foreign brand names in the industry to the City.
The expos feature the latest state-of-the-art technology and machinery and equipment for producing shoes, leather and accessories. All of the latest products, designs and trends in the industry are on display as well.
A series of events are being introduced at the expos to help companies incorporate the aforementioned into their operations and facilitate companies in the industry access and grasp new sources of material.
Under the framework of these expos running to July 18, there are also other activities including exchanges among footwear and leather associations and businesses and a seminar on spring-summer fashion trend.
