The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened its 41st session in Hanoi on July 25. During the session, the NA will approve resolutions on the organisation, tasks, authorisation and operation regulations of the Central Anti-Corruption Steering Board which is headed by the Government’s Prime Minister.

The NA will adopt a resolution on foreign-related housing civil transactions, discuss a resolution on retirement regulations for servicemen who joined the anti-US war resistance and hear reports on State budget allocation for investment and development in the 2004-2006 and for 2007-2010 periods.


The NA will consider suspension of duty for NA deputy Mac Kim Ton, former Director of the Thai Binh Education and Training Department who was prosecuted for corrupt activities.
